Sportamingo is a payments companion app for parents and guardians ("you") who pay fees to sports clubs, leagues, teams, and facilities ("clubs"). The app lets you find invoices billed to your phone number or email, pay them by bank account or card, manage saved payment methods and autopay, view your payment history, and contact support.
Your club — not Sportamingo — is the merchant of record for the fees it bills. Sportamingo and its payments processor handle the movement of money on the club's behalf; the underlying obligation (what you owe, for what, and any club refund or cancellation policy) is between you and your club.
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email — there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that phone number and email secure, because anyone who can receive your code can sign in. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, and you agree that the contact and identity information you provide is accurate and yours.
The app shows invoices and accounts that your clubs have associated with the phone number or email you have verified. Adding and verifying a second contact method can surface more of your invoices. If nothing appears, it usually means a club has not yet billed the contact information on your account — ask your club to bill the number or email you use here.
When you pay, your card or bank details are collected directly by our payments processor through secure hosted fields; Sportamingo never sees or stores your full card number or bank account number. By submitting a payment you authorize the charge for the amount shown, including any processing or convenience fee disclosed before you confirm.
Some clubs pass a convenience fee to the payer. When they do, the fee and the total are shown on the payment screen before you confirm. The total charged is calculated and confirmed by the club's systems at the time of payment; the amounts shown in the app are an estimate until then.
Bank (ACH) payments are not instant — they are initiated immediately but can take several business days to clear, and may later fail or be returned. The app marks these payments as processing until they settle.
If you enroll in autopay, you authorize Sportamingo and the club's processor to automatically charge your selected payment method for future invoices that fall within the scope you choose, until you cancel. You can change or cancel autopay at any time from the Wallet screen; changes apply going forward and do not reverse a payment already in progress.
Refunds, credits, and cancellation policies are set by your club. Sportamingo can help you reach your club through support, but it does not decide whether a refund is owed. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact support and your club promptly.
Do not use the app to break the law, to access an account or invoice that is not yours, to interfere with the service, or to attempt to defeat its security. We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the app or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud.
We work to keep the app accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the underlying goods, services, programs, or policies your club provides, or for delays and failures outside our reasonable control (including bank processing times and third-party outages).
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
